Groznjan. A small medieval town also called the city of the artist because of many art galleries and jazz musicians who actually live there in the summer days. The small town is located in the hills of Western Istria, from where visitors have a breathtaking view of Livade and Motovun. This is one of the most romantic small towns you can visit in Croatia, believe me on that. Christie and Chad, the main characters of this blog post, knew that.
Thir wedding story began earlier that day at Stanzia Cozzi, a beautiful old Meditarenaen Villa, located in Brtonigla around 10 kilometers away. Surrounded by woods, olive trees, and stone walls, this house was just perfect to start a wedding day at.
And it was a great atmosphere in the house, also. Christie was writing vowes on her Macbook, completely relaxed just a few hours before marrying the love of her life. She was surrounded by her best friends who help her out get dressed while making her laugh all the time, while Chad was patiently waiting for the first look.
They are both Americans but living in Kenya, so their families and friends came all over the world to celebrate their love. After a short session in the streets of Groznjan, they meet their guests at Konoba Morgan where everything was ready for the wedding in the restaurant terrace with a great on the sunset over the Istrian vineyards. Do I even have to mention that the ceremony was beautiful and emotional?
This was one of the most relaxing weddings I was hired to, thanks to the Christie and Chad who are amazing couple, but also because of their very kind family who were very friendly, and of course, because of the perfectly organized planning team from Wed Our Way agency.
