For Aleksandra and Kristijan, this place has a special meaning, for me it was a great venue for engagement story. Monumenti and its small island Katarina are former military barracks with huge buildings, surrounded with sea and woods. This place is abandoned for over 25 years and the buildings are in really bad shape today. The peaceful island connected with a bridge is located in the port of Pula, from where visitors have a magnificent view on the city, especially on Roman amphitheater Arena and local shipyard. We explored some of the buildings interiors, found interesting wall graffiti, old broken furniture and a lot of dust. But we had a lot of fun as well. Those two are very cute couple full of love to each other. It will be a pleasure to be their wedding photographer on next Saturday. Enjoy this story.
